The South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA), in collaboration with the University of Stellenbosch (US) and the Western Cape Education Department (WCED), invite Accounting teachers to attend a teacher enrichment programme.

Lecturers from the US will present the programme, via the WCED Telematics Teaching project, at the schools listed in the attached Annexure C
|

There will be six one-hour training sessions, each of which will begin at either 15:00 or 16:00 on Tuesday afternoons. The sessions will cover various important areas of the Accounting curriculum and will be offered in both English and Afrikaans, as indicated in Annexure B.

All Accounting teachers are invited to register for this programme and will be required to attend all the sessions at the venue closest to the school at which they are teaching. |

Accounting teachers who wish to register for this course need to complete the attached reply slip (Annexure A) and e-mail it to the programme co-ordinator, Ms Betty Abrahams at bettya@saica.co.za or fax it to her at 011 621 6782 by 5 March 2012. |

On completion of the six sessions, all participants will receive a certificate of participation in this teacher enrichment programme. |
