The Western Cape Education Department (WCED) thanks all schools that participated in the Annual National Assessments (ANA) of 2011. |

The ANA of 2012 will be written during the third term, from 18 to 21 September 2012. |

The full cohort of Grades 1 to 6 and Grade 9 learners in public ordinary and state-funded independent schools will be required to write the tests in 2012. The timetable will become available once it has been received from the Department of Basic Education (DBE). |

The WCED will once again rely on your support in ensuring the successful management and conduct of these assessments.
