The Western Cape Education Department (WCED) will issue five vacancy lists in 2012. The dates of publication of the vacancy lists, as well as other important dates, are contained in the attached annexure. |

The WCED will not have separate vacancy lists for posts at different levels. All vacant posts must therefore be advertised in the vacancy lists at the earliest opportunity. Principals' posts will, however, be advertised on demand and therefore not form part of the Vacancy List timetable for 2012. In future, a permanent draft vacancy list will be open continuously on the WCED website, and adverts inserted by the closing dates indicated on the Vacancy List timetable will be advertised in the Vacancy List applicable to each closing date. |

Principals and governing bodies are kindly requested to ensure that advertisements are filled in electronically on the draft vacancy list on the WCED website at http://wced.pgwc.gov.za. No written forms will be accepted. Principals must consult their circuit team managers if they experience problems with the process of completing advertisements on the draft vacancy list on the website. Please consult Circular 0010/2005 of 18 July 2005 in this regard. Principals who do not have access to the website must contact their circuit team managers. |
