Delivery of Literacy Workbook 2 and Numeracy Workbook 2, for Grades 1-6 for Terms 3 and 4, commenced on 31 May 2011 and will be completed before 23rd June 2011. The workbooks will be delivered directly to schools by service providers appointed by the national Department of Basic Education. |

These learner workbooks will be delivered according to language of learning and teaching (LOLT), learner enrolment and grades in each school. Grades 1 to 6 learners will receive both Literacy and Numeracy workbooks in the LOLT of the school. |

Principals are requested to complete the attached Addendum A to confirm delivery of the workbooks and report any shortages. Addendum A must be sent to the schools IMG manager by 24 June 2011at 12 o'clock. A copy of Addendum A must also be faxed to 086 763 3377 or e-mailed to ltsm@pgwc.gov.za |

The Workbooks are provided free of charge and are to be used daily by learners. |

The workbooks are consumable items. Learners should also write in their own exercise books and use their Numeracy/Mathematics textbooks for classwork and homework every day. |
