The Western Cape Education Department (WCED) is offering a revision programme via the interactive Telematics programme (lessons beamed via satellite technology) during February-March 2012 to assist candidates writing the supplementary National Senior Certificate examinations. The revision programme commences on 7 February and ends on 8 March 2012. Lessons will be broadcast live by experienced Grade 12 teachers to 145 selected schools in the eight education districts of the Western Cape from 15:00 to 17:00 on weekdays and from 14:00 to 18:00 on Sundays. |

The NCS subjects to be offered are the following:
- Mathematics
- Physical Sciences
- Accounting
- Geography
- Life Sciences
- English FAL
- Afrikaans HL

The attached Annexure A provides the timetable of lessons. |

Candidates who wish to take advantage of this opportunity are required to register by 16 January 2012 at a Telematics equipped school nearest to their place of residence. (See Annexure B for the location of these schools.) |

Candidates may register for as many of the above subjects as they wish. |

The completed registration form (Annexure C) must be hand delivered or posted to the school selected from Annexure B as per paragraph 4, by no later than 23 January 2012. |

Candidates are requested to bring the relevant question paper(s) they wrote in October-November 2011 and their own stationery to the lessons. |

Candidates who do not have access to any school listed in Annexure B can purchase support lessons on DVDs at a nominal price from the WCED by completing the order form (Annexure D) and faxing it to EDUMEDIA at 021 685 7421. |

Principals are requested to provide a copy of the revision timetable and the appropriate forms to each candidate who qualifies for the February-March Supplementary Examinations on the day they collect their results at the school. |
