You are referred to Curriculum FET Minute DCF 0007/2011 for the logistical arrangements relating to CAPS orientation and content training for all teachers. Paragraphs 5 and 6 of this minute provide the following general information regarding the dates and times for orientation and training:
Orientation:

This will start at 15:00 on a Friday after school until 17:00 and continue on the Saturday from 08:00 to 17:00.

| 1.2 |
Attendance is compulsory for all teachers.
|
Training:
| 1.3 |
This will take place during the September school vacation for two full days from 08:00 to 16:00. |
| 1.4 |
Teachers will receive training related to new content of CAPS. |

Further to that minute, we hereby announce that CAPS orientation and content training for teachers of Grade 10 subjects with a small enrolment has been arranged by Head Office. |

The attached addendum provides the subjects, dates, times and venues for this orientation and training. |
| 4. |
Should it become necessary to change any of the arrangements, schools will be notified by the senior curriculum planner concerned. |

Please note that the orientation and content training for subjects with a large enrolment has been organized by officials at the district offices. They will be informing you of the logistical arrangements for each subject. |
