PROMOTION OF ACCESS TO INFORMATION ACT (ACT 2 OF 2000) - UPDATED LIST OF INFORMATION AND REQUEST OFFICERS


1. In compliance with the above-mentioned Act, a review of the relevant delegated officials must be regularly conducted. An updated list of the names of the Western Cape Education Department (WCED)'s senior request officers per chief directorate, request officers per directorate and deputy information officers is attached at Annexure A.
2. The primary functions of the above-mentioned officers are set out in the attached Annexure B.
3. All WCED officials are kindly requested to give their full co-operation to these officers to ensure that requests for information are dealt with promptly.
4. Kindly bring the content of this minute to the attention of all staff under your supervision.
