Training courses in the content applicable to the Personal Well-being focus area were offered to teachers in the districts during June 2010. |

Another three-day training course on the same content will be held on 29 and 30 September and 1 October 2010 for teachers who did not attend the course in June 2010.

FET Life Orientation teachers who did not attend the June workshop are invited to attend this second workshop, at which the use of the Today's Choices material will be explained.

The workshop will start each day at 08:30 and end at 17:00. |

The venue for the workshop will be Bernadino Heights Secondary School, La Boheme Road, Kraaifontein. |

Teachers are requested to complete the attached registration form (Annexure A) and Fax it to Mrs Hazel Visser, Directorate: Life Skills and HIV/AIDS, at fax number 086 567 9334 before 30 August 2010. Mrs Visser may be contacted at tel no 021 467 2631. |

Teachers from the rural districts will be reimbursed for travelling expenses. Those who intend to claim for these expenses must have the following information available at the course:
- PERSAL number
- Engine capacity of the vehicle used and year of manufacture
- Kilometre distance from the school to the workshop venue.

Teachers from the rural districts who require accommodation must make their own arrangements. These teachers must submit their claims on the day of the workshop before they leave. |

Principals are requested to bring this minute to the attention of Grades 10 to 12 Life Orientation teachers. |
