1. The Directorate: Internal Human Capital Management hereby informs all line managers and public service staff that the moderation process used for awarding cash bonuses during the 2007-2008 cycle is currently under review.
2. This decision was taken as a result of various enquiries received which drew attention to the need to review the moderation process that was followed when decisions were taken by the Central Moderating Committee to award or not award cash bonuses.
3. The results of the formal review will be communicated to all line managers and employees once it has been finalised.
4. Line managers and public service staff should be aware that this exercise may affect employees who received or did not receive a cash bonus.
5. Line managers must note that they do not have to resubmit any appraisal documents for the 2007-2008 cycle.
