All the Grade 11 textbooks on the above-mentioned catalogue have been revised and aligned with the latest Subject Assessment Guidelines (SAGs) and Learning Programme Guidelines (LAGs).

In respect of textbooks for Grade 11 learners, schools are instructed to purchase textbooks for only the following two (2) subjects, namely Life Orientation and Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy, from their Norms and Standards textbook allocation. These are to be ordered using the 034 form, which has already been supplied. |

The LTSM Special Project is undertaking to supply a textbook each in respect of the remaining five (5) subjects per Grade 11 learner. This means that each Grade 11 learner will receive 7 textbooks in total. |

Each principal will be notified of his/her school's budget allocation in terms of the LTSM Special Project, and how to requisition the textbooks in a letter with the subject line: ALLOCATION TO SUPPLEMENT THE PURCHASE OF TEXTBOOKS FOR GRADE 11. This letter will be sent electronically and by post. |

The attached requisition must be completed, then signed by the principal and the chairperson of the Books sub-committee and stamped with the official school stamp. The completed requisition forms must be submitted by hand or post by 26 June 2009 to the address below:
