1. The AET Sub-directorate initiates partnerships with various government departments and businesses in order to facilitate the rollout of AET services. Through these partnerships, AET tuition is offered to employees by community learning centres at a specified cost. Payments are made to the relevant learning centres on a quarterly basis based on reports submitted by the community learning centre.
2. The first term for AET centres is ending, which means that reports for partnership learners are due. The due date for these reports is 20 March 2008.
3. Please find attached the template for these reports. It is also available on request from pneethli@pgwc.gov.za.
4. Please note that if reports are not received on the due date, the various partners will not make payments.
5. All centres that are involved in private partnerships should also complete reports. Centre managers must clearly indicate whether the partnership is private or public.
6. The completed reports must be faxed to 021 467 2268, for attention P. Neethling or posted to The Head: Education, Western Cape Education Department, For attention: AET Partnership Co-ordinator, Room 8-65, Private Bag X9114, Cape Town, 8000.
