The national Department of Education is distributing the above book which has been produced by the South African Revenue Services in 2007.

The book provides Grades 10 to 12 learners with information on income tax and relates to the Life Orientation learning outcomes, as explained in Chapter 5 of the book.

Every high school will receive 3 copies of the book, which must be distributed among the Grades 10 -12 Life Orientation teachers.

The books will be delivered to district offices from 1 July 2008 onwards and must be collected by each school from the Life Orientation curriculum adviser.

Principals are requested to bring the contents of this minute to the attention of Life Orientation teachers.
