With reference to Education Planning Minute 0002/2007 dated 23 February 2007 please be advised of the following procedure with respect to target setting for grades 10 -12.

Principals are requested to finalise the consultation process outlined in the above-mentioned curriculum planning minute with the relevant stakeholders. Meetings with teachers and other stakeholders mentioned below, should have taken place timeously.

Once the targets have been set these must be entered onto the attached template and signed by the:

• School Principal

• Chairperson of the School Governing body

• and the Chairperson of the Representative Council of Learners.

The completed template must be submitted to the Circuit Manager for scrutiny and comment by no later than 30 March 2007. An electronic copy of the set targets must be e-mailed to EMDC Assessment Co-ordinators.
