1. The Western Cape Education Department (WCED) has decided to issue two vacancy lists for 2008. The vacancy lists will contain both Post Level 1 posts and promotion posts (including principals' posts).
2. Principals and governing bodies are kindly requested to ensure that advertisements are filled in electronically on the draft vacancy list on the WCED website at http://wced.wcape.gov.za. Advertisements must be submitted electronically. No advertisement forms will be accepted. Principals must consult with their circuit managers should they encounter difficulty with the filling in of advertisements on the draft vacancy list on the website. Please refer to Circular 0010/2005 of 18 July 2005 in this regard (copy attached). Principals who are unable to access the website must contact their circuit managers.
3. The following schedule provides the intended dates for vacancy list publication and other important dates:
