Applications are invited from persons who wish to act as chief markers, markers or moderators of learning areas (list of learning areas attached) assessed during the 2007 June and October ABET Level 4 Examinations. These persons must meet the criteria in paragraph 2 below.

Teaching experience: Appropriate teaching experience, including experience at Level 4 in the learning area concerned

Qualifications: A recognised three-year teaching qualification

| 3.1 |
Applications must be made on the attached application form. An applicant must complete a separate copy of the form for each learning area for which he or she applies.

| 3.2 |
Certified copies of qualification certificates must accompany each completed application form. If these documents do not accompany an application form, the application will not be considered. No exceptions will be made and no correspondence will be conducted with applicants in this regard.

| 3.3 |
All application forms must be signed by the principal or centre manager (in the case of educators), and by directors or delegated persons (in the case of principals, senior curriculum planners, chief curriculum planners and curriculum advisers). Unsigned forms will be returned to the applicants.

4 All applications must be submitted to the following address by 19 March 2007. Applications received after that date will not be considered.

The marking tariff for each subject will be made available as soon as possible. Each chief marker, marker and moderator responsible for marking and/or moderating of scripts will be taxed in accordance with the Income Tax Act of 2002.
