The special stationery required by learners in certain subjects is listed on the attached Annexure A.

With the exception of the examinations listed below, the invigilator must issue each learner with an answer book appropriate to the grade on which he/she is writing the examination.

A learner who asks for and is given an additional answer book, must be told to place the second answer book inside the first. You are requested to keep a record of all the additional answer books issued and to check immediately after each session whether these answer books have also been handed in.

No answer books need to be issued to learners for the following examinations, as the questions must be answered either on the question paper or on the answer sheets provided:
Geography HG/SG, Second Paper (Mapwork)
Music HG/SG, First Paper (Harmony and Composition)
Woodwork SG (Drawing)
Technika (Civil) HG/SG
Technical Drawing HG/SG

Approved pocket calculators may be used.(See Annexure A)

Learners may be issued with additional drawing paper, if required.
|

Each school/centre will be provided with an adequate supply of labels and despatch notes for the return of scripts by the relevant courier service.

Principals are requested to inform learners of the contents of this Examination minute.
