1. The Cape Town Book Fair (CTBF) is to be held at the Cape Town International Convention Centre from 16 to 19 June 2007. More than 300 events, including readings, book launches, panel discussions and seminars, will take place during the fair.
2. The fair will feature a special children's zone, called Once Upon a Time, featuring story circles, demonstrations, games and displays of children's books. The children's programme will emphasize reading for pleasure and stimulating a love of books. Events will take place in Afrikaans, English and Xhosa. A focused programme for teachers is scheduled for 18 and 19 June 2007. Schools are welcome to book class visits to the fair.
3. The fair will be open from 09:00 to 17:00 daily, from Saturday, 16 June to Tuesday, 19 June. The entrance fee is R30.00 for adults and R10.00 for pensioners. However, entry is free for children accompanied by an adult.
