The Western Cape Education Department (WCED) is pleased to announce that it will be hosting a Provincial 'English Festival' for teachers of grades 10 to 12, on 18 and 19 May 2007.

This festival has been organised by WCED in partnership with the Publishers' Association of South Africa (PASA).
|

It is a celebration of English teaching. A variety of demonstration lessons have been planned.
|
| 4. |
The presenters will share their creative approaches to the teaching / managing / facilitation of their chosen topics. These range from language lessons, to creative writing and the teaching of literature.

Venue: Parow High School
Registration Time: 12h30 on Friday, 18 May 2007
Starting Time: 13h00

Apart from the plenary session on Friday, there will also be two sessions of presentations. Day one ends at 17h00.

Kindly note that on Saturday, 19 May 2007, proceedings will commence at 08h30 and end at 12h45.
