The Letterkunde-ondersteuningskomitee (LOK) hereby invites all teachers who teach Afrikaans to Grade 11 and Grade 12 learners to the 2007 symposium that will take place at the University of the Western Cape from 13:00 to 18:00 on Friday, 16 February 2007 and from 9:00 to 13:30 on Saturday, 17 February 2007.

The main aim of the symposium is to support the teaching of literature. The final programme will be available on the Afrikaans website at http://curriculum.wcape.school.za from 03 February 2007.

The admission fee is R100,00 per person and interested persons can write a cheque to Sibanye Cape Sacco or deposit the amount at ABSA, branch code: 632005, savings account, account number 38173920528.

Prospective participants must complete the attached entry form and fax it, together with proof of payment, to Ms Janine Pekeur at 021 959 1249 not later than 10 February 2007.
