1. Ukubonisa ukuba iSebe leMfundo leNtshona Koloni (WCED) liyazi ngoxanduva lwalo lokujongana nempilo qete yabasebenzi balo nokubaluleka kokubanika inkxaso, laqulunqa iProgram yeMpilo Qete yaBasebenzi (Employee Health and Wellness Programme (EHWP) esekelwe kwiimfuno neminqweno yabasebenzi balo eqatshelweyo. I-EHWP ibonelela abasebenzi ngenkxaso nangesikhokelo xa kufuneka bejongene nemingeni ebomini babo kunye namathuba abanokuwasebenzisa. Le program ijolise ekugxininiseni imfuno yokuba elowo nalowo makathwale uxanduva ngempilo qete yakhe.
2. Njengomqeshi ozikhathazayo ngoxanduva lwakhe, eli Sebe iWCED liyaqonda ukuba umsebenzi onengxaki akanako nje ukwenza umsebenzi wakhe ngeyona ndlela egqibeleleyo de impilo yakhe yenziwe ibe yinxalenye yomoya olawulayo weziko lokusebenzela liphela. ISebe iWCED ngako oko lifuna ukunika inkxaso yokubonelela abasebenzi balo ngamathuba okuba bazive bekwindawo yokusebenzela ebakhuthazayo nebanika inkxaso, apho banikwa khona ithuba lokuba bafumane ulwazi ngeendlela ezahlukeneyo zokunonophela impilo qete yabo ngokupheleleyo.
3. ISebe iWCED ngoko ke liya kuba noSuku lweMpilo Qete yaBasebenzi (Employee Health and Wellness Day) ngomhla we-23 November 2006, commercial gardens school, plein street, ukususela ngo-11:00 ukuya ku:17:00, apho kuya kubonelelwa mahala ngezi nkonzo zilandelayo kubasebenzi:
  • Ukondla umzimba (Nutrition): Imikhwa yokutya ukutya okunezondlo (Healthy eating habits)

  • Ulwazi ngesifo iThibhi (TB awareness)

  • Uvavanyo neeNgcebiso ngokuZithandela (Voluntary Counselling and Testing (VCT))

  • Ulwazi ngokusetyenziswa gwenxa kweziyobisi (Substance abuse awareness) (SANCA)

  • Umbutho woMhlaza iCancer Association of South Africa (CANSA)

  • Ukutshekishwa ikholesterol (Cholesterol check)

  • Uxinzelelo lwegazi (Hypertension)

  • Ukuxilongwa kwencindi yesibeleko (Pap smear)

  • Ukuxilongelwa umhlaza webele (Breast cancer examination)

  • Ukufumana iingcebiso (Counselling)

  • Itheraphi yokumasajwa ngokupheleleyo (Holistic massage therapy)

  • Iyoga (Yoga meditation)

  • Ulungiso lobuso-Avon (Avon - Facials)

  • Ukutshekishwa amehlo (Eye screening)

4. Ngokunika eli thuba, iSebe iWCED liqulela ingxaki isekude ngokunceda abasebenzi balo ukuba basiqaphele kwangoko nasiphi na isigulo esinokuthintela ukwenziwa kweenkonzo ngokufanelekileyo.
5. Kucelwa niqaphele ukuba kuya kuqhutywa ngolu hlobo ngoSuku lweMpilo Qete yaBasebenzi:
  • Abasebenzi baya kuthuthwa ngezithuthi zesebe ezibonelelwe liCandelo loPhuhliso lwaBasebenzi

  • Baya kuthathwa ngakumnyango ongena ngecala lePlein Street ukusiwa kwindawo leyo.

  • Umsebenzi ngamnye uya kufumana ivawutsha yokungena. Ezi vawutsha ziya kunikwa oonobhala bamacandelo kwiiyure eziyi-48 phambi kwesiganeko eso.

6. Kucelwa nifunde esi sihlomelo siqhotyoshelweyo. Abasebenzi abanqwenela ukuya kwizinto eziza kube zisenziwa ngolu suku lweMpilo Qete yaBasebenzi, mabazalise ifom ebonisa amaxesha abakhetha ukuya ngawo baze bayigqithisele kuMlawuli ukuze ayivume, ukuqinisekisa ukuba ukwenziwa kweenkozo kuya kuqhubeka. Isihlomelo esiqhotyoshelweyo masibuyiselwe kwiCandelo loPhuhliso lwaBasebenzi ungadlulanga owe-20 Novemba 2006.
