The HIV/AIDS Conditional Grant has made provision for the following HIV/AIDS and Sexuality Life Skills learning and teaching support material (LTSM) to be made available to all schools:
Grades 1 to 7: Educator Guides (per grade)
Grades 1 to 7: Learner Activity Books (per grade, one per learner)
Grades 1 to 7: Resource Guide for Educators
Grades 8 & 9: Educator Guides (per grade)
Grades 8 & 9: Learner Work Books (per grade, one per learner)
Grades 10 &11: Educator Guide (includes video and CD ROM
Grades 10 &11: Learners Work Books ("Today's Choices" - Life Orientation Learning Outcome 1) - one per learner covering both grades.

These books should be regarded as additional resources to supplement the Life Orientation textbooks used by educators in the classroom.

School principals and School HIV/AIDS co-ordinators are once again requested to complete the attached requisition form for LTSM required by the school for 2007. The completed Form A must be faxed to the Distribution Centre (For attention: Tania Wragg at fax number: 021 477 6719). ( See Annexure A: REQUISITION FORM: A )

Should school principals and school HIV/AIDS co-ordinators not wish to make use of any of these books, kindly complete Form B and fax it to Tania Wragg at fax number: 021 477 6719. ( See Annexure B: NIL - RETURN FORM: B )

Should your school have surplus materials which you no longer require and wish to return to the Distribution Centre, kindly complete Form C and fax it to Tania Wragg at 021 477 6719. The removal of the material from the school will be arranged in collaboration with your EMDC's HIV/AIDS co-ordinator ( See Annexure C: LTSM RETURN Form: C )
