The 2006 Integrated Quality Management System (IQMS) cycle started on 1 January and will end on 31 December 2006.

The WCED has printed a calendar for each educator. This calendar lists the sequence of activities for the 2006 cycle. It is important that all educators adhere to this time frame so that the EMDC and Head Office processes will not be delayed.

This calendar focuses on the activities involving the educator. It is clear from the calendar that performance appraisal is an integral part of the daily management of staff and the school’s planning.

It is the responsibility of the supervisor and the educator to ensure that the process is implemented fully and that the deadlines are met.
