The Premier of the Western Cape, Mr Ebrahim Rasool, invites all staff of the Western Cape Education Department as well as schools to the Heritage Day celebrations, to be held at the Grand Parade in Cape Town on Sunday, 24 September 2006 commencing at 09:00 (flyer attached).

The main speaker for the event will be the President, Mr Thabo Mbeki.

The programme for the day (attached) will include music, exhibitions, inter-faith prayers, opening of the Homeless Soccer World Cup, comedy, drama, street performers and food stalls.
