Following public demand for more information on the implementation of the National Curriculum Statement (NCS) Grades 10-12 (General) in Grades 11 and 12 in 2007 and 2008 respectively, the SABC has granted additional time slots on SABC1 to provide information on the NCS Grades 10-12 (General).

Time slots have been allocated on SABC 1 on Wednesday mornings from 10:00 to 12:00 for teacher training, in particular for Mathematical Literacy, Physical Science, Technology subjects, Life Sciences, Life Orientation and Languages.

The training programmes have been scheduled to commence on 18 April 2006.

Principals are kindly requested to ensure that teachers do not stay away from classes and that schools manage this process carefully.
