1. Certain managers of community learning centres (centre managers) and site co-ordinators are appointed on a full-time contract basis for a specified period.
1.1 Such appointments are made according to the conditions and criteria provided in the contract and the Procedure Manual for Centre Managers and Site Co-ordinators.
1.2 The 2005 contract stipulates that “at the end of the contract period as specified in the contract, the services of the Centre Manager or Site Co-ordinator will automatically be terminated and the position will be advertised in the list of vacancies”.
2. All full-time contract centre manager and site co-ordinator posts for 2006 will, therefore, be advertised in a Special List of Vacancies during November 2005. Current full-time contract centre managers and site co-ordinators are encouraged to apply.
3. All enquiries in this regard must be addressed to the relevant EMDC director.
4. Please bring the contents of this minute to the attention of all educators and governing body members.
