As you are aware, the approval of salary progressions to employees is subject to the prescriptions of the Staff Performance Management and Development System. |

Although a serious appeal was made in the above-mentioned minute to managers and supervisors to submit all Annexure E forms (Performance Certificates) to Head Office by 31 August 2005, thousands of forms are still outstanding. This failure to submit Annexure E penalises the employees concerned as they do not receive their rightful monthly salaries. If grievances are received in this regard, supervisors will be requested to provide explanations. |

An extension has now been granted until 14 October 2005 for the submission of Annexure E forms so that salary increases can be implemented in October 2005. Salary progression for those whose Annexure E forms are not received by that date will be considered only after the entire evaluation process for public service personnel has been completed. |
