You are referred to Minute DPE/0006/2004 of 18 May 2004 in which the policy and measures pertaining to the System of Recognition of Long Service of the State was explained. The above-mentioned policy and measures still apply. |

All heads of institutions and/or supervisors are requested to submit to the WCED the completed original Annexure A by no later than 15 October 2005. If departmental records (Persal) should indicate that an employee has rendered 20 or 30 years’ continuous service and such employee fails to submit the required Annexure A by the above-mentioned date, it will be assumed that the employee is not interested in having his/her leave converted. Please note that no faxes or copies will be accepted. Only the attached forms, completed in ink and in the applicant’s own handwriting, will be processed. Please ensure that you do not use previous versions of Annexure A, as it is not compliant with Resolution 6/2003. |
