1. Publishers of textbooks would like to supply titles to schools as soon as possible after orders have been placed. However, as they are experiencing problems regarding the planning of the printing and the availability of titles at present, they have requested that they be given an indication of the global numbers of the various titles which schools will accept.
2. In view of the above it would be appreciated if schools could complete and submit the attached annexures electronically, with the WCED 032 forms, to the following e-mail address by no later than 25 April 2005: wced-032@pgwc.gov.za. Schools which do not have e-mail facilities can forward the completed annexures and the WCED 032 forms to

3. Although Section 21 schools buy their own LTSM and the WCED is not directly involved in the acquisition process, it would be appreciated if they could also complete and submit the forms so that publishers can be aware of their needs as well.
4. All principals are therefore requested to ensure that the annexures for textbooks and readers, and stationery for learners and educators, are completed and submitted. The stationery referred to does not include cleaning agents, protective outer clothing for personnel, subject material, etc., as set out under local purchases in paragraph 6 of Annexure A to Circular 0062/2004 of 15 November 2004.
