1. |
The common timetable for the examinations for ABET Level 3 learners in October and November 2005 is enclosed. |
2. |
The examinations commence on 31 October 2005 and end on 3 November 2005. Each learning area will be written between 18:00 and 20:30. This examination is provided by the Western Cape Education Department (WCED) in order to assist learners to develop the skills needed to write the Level 4 examinations. Centres are therefore requested to adhere to the timetable and to conduct the examinations in the same way as for Level 4. |
3. |
For administrative purposes, it is important that centre managers should be at the centres before the commencement and at the end of each examination session. |
4. |
Should the assessment be conducted on the premises of a mainstream school, the centre manager must make prior arrangements for the use of the strongroom, the administration building, classrooms, ablution facilities, etc. |
5. |
Centres must immediately provide all their candidates and educators with the timetable to enable them to make their final preparations for the examinations. |
6. |
Centre managers must remind all their candidates that they will have to produce their identity documents and admission letters before the commencement of each examination session. |
7. |
It would be much appreciated if you would convey to the candidates the WCED’s best wishes for the examinations. |
