The national Department of Education has made additional sets of the Further Education and Training (FET) National Curriculum Subject Statements available to the Western Cape Education Department for distribution to schools offering the Further Education and Training curriculum. |

Four sets will be couriered to each school during March 2005. |

Principals must ensure that each subject teacher has access to the appropriate subject statement. |

Teachers are urged to study these subject statements in preparation for the subject orientation workshops that have been scheduled for June-July and September 2005. |

Teachers must ensure that the subject statements are brought to the orientation workshops. |
| 6. |
Unfortunately these statements are available only in English at this stage. |
