The WCED attaches great importance to exposing learners to career opportunities. Guidance in career and subject choice is offered through the Life Orientation learning area in the GET band, Life Orientation in the FET band and other related programmes. |

The Storm Model Shop is offering an opportunity to learners who display a keen interest in working in either the fashion or the film industry to attend information sessions on these industries. |

The sessions will commence on 15 March 2005 and run throughout 2005. They will be open to all schools in the Western Cape, but are limited to 10 learners per one-hour session. Session time slots are available between 15:00 and 17:00 every weekday. |

Each school will be responsible for selecting learners who show a keen interest in and have the potential to be part of either the fashion or the film industry. |
