1. In Minute LS/0013/2004 of 23 April 2004 it was incorrectly indicated that the second school quarter 2005 would commence on 14 April 2005. This error was corrected in an evennumbered minute of 28 April 2004, but the previous minute was not withdrawn.
2. Principals are urgently requested to inform all educators, learners, parents and members of governing bodies that Minute LS 0013/2004 of 23 April 2004 is hereby withdrawn and has been replaced by this minute.

The Council of Education Ministers has given permission for the last day of school attendance for learners in Grades 1 to 11 to be FRIDAY 2 DECEMBER 2005, provided that this day is the last day on which examinations are written, so that best use may be made of school time. Educators remain at school until TUESDAY 6 DECEMBER 2005 in order to complete administrative tasks.
