1. The National Intelligence Agency (NIA) has developed a pro forma declaration document which must be completed by all individuals employed within the Provincial Government of the Western Cape (PGWC) for every incident or future incident of contact with foreign nationals/missions/organisations.
2. The Provincial Head: NIA Western Cape has therefore requested that officials attached to the Western Cape Education Department complete the required declaration form if they have had or will have any contact with foreign nationals/missions/organisations. Completed declarations must be submitted to Mr JT Solomons, Directorate: Logistical Services, Room 605 (Telephone: 467 2818), for forwarding to the Office of the Director-General (Dr Lawrence), which has been identified as the nodal point for the reporting of contact.
3. Please bring the contents of this minute to the attention of all the relevant officials.
