In accordance with a syllabus instruction contained in the interim Senior Secondary Syllabus,1996, SECTION 6, Regional Geography, paragraph 6.1.3(b), the additional industrial region to be examined on the Higher Grade, will be changed annually and will be made known to schools by means of an Examination Instruction. |

The Industrial regions which will be examined in the Senior Certificate Examination of November 2005 and the Supplementary Examination of March 2006 will be as follows:
Higher Grade: South West Cape and PWV/Gauteng
Standard Grade: South West Cape |
