The WCED will once again conduct common tasks for assessment for ABET level 2 as indicated in Circular 74/2003. |

All registered WCED CLCs are requested to allow their learners to write this assessment in the learning area of their choice. |

Centre managers are requested to complete the enclosed registration data form for each learner who will be writing the level 2 CTA. The form must reach Head Office by no later than 28 June 2004. If any entry form is received after the due date, the centre manager concerned will be responsible for obtaining the CTA from the EMDC office and printing of the CTAs for his or her centre. |

This CTA will be marked internally at the centre. |

The final CTA mark, together with the CASS mark, will be presented as a percentage on the final schedule that will accompany the question papers later this year. |

Centres will be responsible for providing learners with final reports for 2004. |

The ABET curriculum advisers will moderate and approve the final learning area results. |
| 4.5 |
A copy of the approved final schedule must be sent to Head Office so that learners can obtain statements of results from the WCED. These certificates will be sent to centres in 2005. |
