Schools are reminded that the "Transition" Documents, which were issued previously, contained suggestions about items and focuses for CASS. The documents which accompany this circular, however, contain the formal CASS requirements for recording for promotion purposes. Principals should ensure that all teachers not only study the subject specific requirements but also familiarise themselves with the generic section which is part (Section A) of each document. |
