Enclosed is a copy of the final timetable for the February–March 2017 National Senior Certificate (NSC) Supplementary Examinations. |

The NSC Supplementary Examinations are scheduled to commence on 22 February 2017 and conclude on 30 March 2017. |
| 3. |
Two examination sessions are scheduled for each day. The morning session will commence at 09:00 and the afternoon session will commence at 14:00. |
| 4. |
Examination centres for the writing of the NSC Supplementary Examinations will be established at secondary schools and other venues, as determined by the WCED. |
| 5. |
Only external invigilators who were involved in the conduct of the November 2016 National Senior Certificate Examinations will be used for invigilating these examinations, as stipulated in their signed contracts. The 2016 senior invigilator will serve as a chief invigilator for the 2017 NSC Supplementary Examinations. |
| 6. |
The chief invigilator must ensure that candidates enter the examination venue 35 minutes before the official starting time of the examination session. This time is to be used as follows: |

The first 25 minutes must be used to settle the candidates in their correct seats, to distribute question papers, etc. |
| 6.2 |
During the remaining 10 minutes candidates must be given an opportunity to read through the question paper. |
| 6.3 |
No writing or making of notes is allowed at any stage during the 35 minutes. Any infringement of this rule will constitute an irregularity. |
| 7. |
Registration forms for the NSC Supplementary Examinations were sent to all candidates who qualify for the examination. |
| 8. |
