| 1. | The Provincial Minister responsible for education in the Western Cape, acting in terms of Section 63(1)(cH) of the Western Cape Provincial School Education Act, 1997 (Act 12 of 1997) has promulgated Regulations on the Issuing of Performance Indicators Binding on Public Schools, which are attached to this circular. |
| 2. | These regulations, published in Provincial Gazette Extraordinary 7399 dated 2 June 2015, come into effect on 01 January 2016. |
| 3. | Principals are requested to bring the content of this circular to the attention of all members of staff and the chairperson of the governing body. |
