The Provincial Minister of Education by notice in the Provincial Gazette 6982, dated 13 April 2012, published the attached Code of Conduct for Members of School Governing Bodies of Public Schools. |

The code of conduct contains provisions regarding due process, safeguarding the interests of members of the governing body in disciplinary proceedings. |

All members of a governing body should adhere to the code of conduct. |
| 5. |
Governing bodies are encouraged to study the code of conduct very carefully and to implement it consistently. |
