SUBJECT: | WCED POLICY FOR THE MANAGEMENT OF ADMISSION AND REGISTRATION OF LEARNERS AT ORDINARY PUBLIC SCHOOLS |

The admission policy contained in Circular 0040/2004 has been revised to include the required detail for the correct and timely administration of the admission of learners to ordinary public schools in the Western Cape. |

The attached policy and procedures replace Circular 0040/2004, and are applicable to all Western Cape ordinary public schools from 1 January 2011. |

This policy should be read in conjunction with the Learner Attendance Policy. |
| 4. |
School principals are requested to make this policy available to all interested parties, especially school staff and governing body members. |
