The delegations in terms of the Adult Basic Education and Training Act, 2000 (Act 52 of 2000), which came into effect on the date of publication (13 December 2000) in the Government Gazette, have now been approved. The attached delegations, regarding powers that are vested in the MEC and the Head: Education, come into effect immediately.
