1. INgcaciso yeKharityhulam kaZwelonke ehlaziyiweyo kwiSigaba esiPhakamileyo (Revised National Curriculum Statement) iza kumana ifakwa kwithuba leminyaka emithathu elizayo, elisusela ku-2006 kuye ku-2008.
2. INkalo yeSifundo yezoBugcisa neNkcubeko yenzelwe ukulungiselela abafundi abenza izifundo ngokubanzi (generalist learners) nabafundi abenza izifundo ezithile (specialist learner) abasenokukhetha izifundo zobugcisa (arts subjects) kwi-FET. Ngako oko ke le nkalo yesifundo ayiboneleli kuphela ngemigaqo yovavanyo (assessment standards) "ngokuBanzi" ("Generic") koko naleyo "yoNgezelelweyo" ("Additional") kumaBakala 8 - 9. UMgaqo-nkqubo omalunga nezifundo zoBugcisa neNkcubeko kwiSigaba esiPhakamileyo ucacisa oku kulandelayo:

"Nangona iCandelo leMfundo noQeqesho ngokuBanzi (the General Education and Training Band) ikakhulu libonelela ngemfundo ngokubanzi kubo bonke abafundi, enziwe amalungiselelo kumaBakala 8 9 kwiSiphumo soKufunda 1 ukulungiselela umfundi ofuna ukulandela ikhondo lezifundo zobugcisa elithile. Unako umfundi ukukhetha iMigaqo eyoNgezelelweyo yoVavanyo ukulungiselela ukuqhubela phambili ngokufunda kwiCandelo leMfundo noQeqesho oluQhubelekayo (Further Education and Training Band). Le Migaqo yoVavanyo yoNgezelelweyo (Additional Assessment Standards) inika ulwazi olunzulu kunye nenqanaba eliphakamileyo lobungcali kwezobugcisa (technical expertise). 3. Ukunceda izikolo nootitshala ekuqondeni intsingiselo nasekuphumezeni le migaqo yovavanyo, kwenziwe le mizekelo mihlanu ilandelayo yeeprogram zezifundo:
I.   Ikhondo leZifundo Ngokubanzi ezifundiswa ngootitshala 
     beZifundo zoBugcisa neNkcubeko ngokubanzi
     (General Learning Pathway for generalist Arts and Culture teachers)
II.  IKhondo leZifundo zoMdaniso (Dance Learning Pathway)
III. IKhondo leZifundo zeDrama (Drama Learning Pathway)
IV.  IKhondo leZifundo zoMculo (Music Learning Pathway)
V.   IKhondo leZifundo zoBugcisa beZinto ezeNziwa ngeSandla 
     (Visual Art Learning Pathway)

IMizekelo yeeProgram zeZifundo zeKhondo leZifundo Ngokubanzi sele isiwe kuzo zonke izikolo ezinabafundi beBakala 7.

IMizekelo yeeProgram zeZifundo zamaKhondo eZifundo aThile iyafumaneka kwii-EMDC kwakwenziwa isicelo soko.

4. Onke amakhondo ezifundo omahlanu aya kufikelela kwiziphumo zokufunda ezine yaye aya kuqinisekisa ukuba zonke iindidi zobugcisa ziyafundiswa. Ukongeza, amakhondo ezifundo athile ajolise ngakumbi ekuphuhliseni izakhono nolwazi kudidi oluthile lobugcisa ukulungiselela abafundi i-FET. Onke amakhondo ezifundo omahlanu ayahambelana nekharityhulam.
5. Ziyacelwa izikolo ezinqwenela ukufundisa amakhondo ezifundo athile kwezoBugcisa neNkcubeko kumaBakala 89 ukuba zenze isicelo soko kuMcebisi ngezeKharityhulam oyiNtloko (Chief Curriculum Advisor) okwi-EMDC yazo ukufumana imvume yokwenjenjalo.
6. Kwizikolo ezikufaneleyo oku kuya kubakho nezo zizizikolo eziphakamileyo ezifundisa izifundo zobugcisa kwi-FET. Amakhondo ezifundo athile MAKANGAKHETHWA kuphela nje ngenxa yokuba utitshala eziva engakuthandi ukuzifundisa zonke iindidi zobugcisa zone.
7. Izicelo ziya kuvavanywa ngokuxhomekeka kwizizathu zokuba isikolo eso sinazo izibonelelo nezinto zokuncedisa ekufundeni ezaneleyo nokuba bakho ootitshala abakwaziyo ukuzifundisa ezi zifundo apho esikolweni.
8. KwiCandelo A leMizekelo yeeProgram zamaKhondo eZifundo aThile (Specific Learning Pathway Learning Programme Exemplars) kunikwe isikhokelo sokwenziwa kwesicwangciso samaxesha okufundisa ukulungiselela amakhondo ezifundo athile.
