Copies of two documents which have been received in respect of the above-mentioned matters, are attached for your personal information and safekeeping.

You are requested to thoroughly familiarise yourself with the contents of the relevant documents, seeing that it will be expected of you to take certain actions which are in detail discussed in the documents.

REMUNERATION PACKAGE

The most important at this stage is to revise the devision of your package and to submit as soon as possible, preferably before or on 24 January 2003 (as mentioned in a recent E-mail message in this regard) the composition and salary advice part thereof to the Personnel Office, Ms Marshall in Room 10-13, so that the correct salary payment and deduction particulars could be registered on the computer. To assist you in calculating your nett salary, you are referred to a model (spreadsheet) which could be electronically obtained on DPSA`s website (http://www.dpsa.gov.za).

NEW PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT SYSTEM

Kindly peruse this document in the mean while. Your existing Performance Agreement will have to be adjusted and further information will be supplied to you shortly.
