It has come to our attention that the short story, Die spook wat oujongkêrels maak, by Elias P. Nel, which is prescribed for Afrikaans HG and SG in 2003, (see Circular 0068/2002) does not appear in the first edition of “Storiepalet”. Unfortunately the specific edition of the anthology was not mentioned in the circular. |

As a substitute for the above-mentioned short story, schools currently using the first edition of the anthology may make a study of Geelperskes by Jaco Botha. This concession is only valid for 2003. |
