This circular accompanies the revised Continuous Assessment Guidelines for Senior Certificate Geography HG and SG and replaces the guidelines issued in 2002. You are advised to destroy the latter document in order to avoid possible confusion. |

Changes have been made to the revised guidelines for learners and to the requirements of the Educator Guidelines as there is clear evidence that a well-prepared Educator Portfolio is the key to successful continuous assessment (CASS). |

Please note that CASS is a compulsory component of all Senior Certificate subjects for all full-time candidates (refer to Circular 9/2002). |

Principals are requested to ensure that the staff members concerned are familiar with the content of the enclosed revised document and that the guidelines are implemented accordingly. |
