As the Western Cape Education Department (WCED) foresees a substantial increase in the Grade 1 learner enrolment of schools under its control in 2004, a certain number of post level 1 educator posts have been set aside for schools which are experiencing a considerable increase in their Grade 1 learner enrolment. |

Qualifying schools may apply now for the allocation of such additional posts with effect from 1 January 2004. This means that they need not wait until the tenth school day of 2004 to do so. |

Applications must be submitted to the WCED via the circuit manager. The prescribed form (copy attached) must be used for this purpose. The circuit manager must submitted the applications to the Head: Education (Attention: Mr D. Flandorp), Private Bag X9114, Cape Town, 8000. |
