The National policy on the compilation of school calendars requires that dates should be finalised eighteen months to two years in advance to facilitate planning by all parties and stakeholders concerned. Attached are copies of the draft school calendars for 2005 and 2006 for information and comments. Comments on the proposed calendars must be submitted to the Western Cape Education Department by no later than Friday 23 May 2003. The contact person is Mr D.R.
